Purpose of Florida Gulf Coast University Wildlife website

Picture
As students at Florida Gulf Coast University there were a couple of things that we were not aware of or at least to an extent before our first year at the University. Some problems we knew we would run into were time management, partying, and living alone. Sharing the campus with wildlife was not something we were expecting to do. Taking the trash out and seeing a pack of rabid raccoons was not in our plans for a "college experience".This website was created by Freshmen for Incoming Freshmen at FGCU to give you guys a heads up on what to expect from the animals who also call FGCU their home. There are  a few stories and pictures by students about their encounters with the wildlife. As well as, many other informational and entertaining tabs that will inform you about all the animals at FGCU and where you may spot them. This website is NOT to steer you away from choosing Florida Gulf Coast University as your school of choice, but instead to allow you to decide if this is the right campus for you.
